Going live

When your integration works in test mode, work through this list.

1. Your business is approved for live payouts (we review your business details first).
2. Your balance is funded from the Funding page.
3. Your approval rules are set, and at least two people can approve (a person cannot approve what they prepared).
4. You created live credentials and put the secret in a secrets manager, not in your code.
5. Your code sends an Idempotency-Key on every create call, and reuses it when retrying.
6. Your webhook endpoint verifies the signature, answers fast, and ignores repeats.
7. You handle 401 (get a new token), 429 (wait) and 5xx (retry later) answers.
8. You tested the failure cases: an invalid account and a temporary error (see test mode).
