Product / Approvals

No single person can send money alone.

Whoever prepares a payout can never approve it. Set rules by amount: who must approve, how many people, and whether a one-time code is needed. Everything is recorded.

What you get

Approvals, done properly.

Maker and checker

The person who prepared or submitted a batch can never approve it, and nobody can approve two steps of the same batch.

Rules by amount

Small batches need one approver. Large batches can need two approvers and then an administrator. You choose the ranges.

One-time codes for approvals

Steps can require an authenticator code, so a stolen password alone is never enough to release money.

Deadlines

A batch nobody decides in time expires, so old requests never sit around waiting to be approved by mistake.

How it works

Three steps.

  1. 1

    Prepare and submit

A maker builds the batch and sends it for approval.

  2. 2

    Approvers decide

The inbox shows every payment. Approve, or reject with a reason.

  3. 3

    Money is reserved

On the last approval the exact amount is set aside, and the payments start.

Good to know

  • Rules are versioned: a batch keeps the rule it was submitted under
  • Rejections need a written reason
  • Every decision is written to the audit log
